The route on Elbrus (5642 m) from the West - this is climbing by fair means, without cableways, without ratraks, without hotels and shelters. We guarantee that you have never seen similar Elbrus before: powerful ice formation, rock walls, including famous rock walls of Kyukyurtlyu. And no one person escept your group! At the end of the road we found a small (people`s) resort on the Djily-Suu mineral springs. There on provide warm bathes and numerous mineral water for drink. Climbing route leads mostly by glacier moraine, after a camping overnight we climb snow-ice slopes to the rock ground on 4400m. It is a nice place - when the weather is good. From there amazingly smoothly inclined slope leads to the summit.

     

Day 1.  Arrival to Mineralnye Vody or to Pyatigorsk. Hotel accommodation. 

Day 2.  Transfer by bus to the base camp on the of Djily-suu in the Ullu-Khurzuk Valley. In the case of poor weather we spent acclimatizating days in the Uzunkol Mountaineering Base for additional price (300 roubles ight). Acclimatization. Rest and bathing in the mineral sources of Djily-suu. 

Day 3. Climb to the camp on the moraine (height of 3500 m). Acclimatization. Radial outings, training on a snow - ice slope. 

     

Day 4.  Climb to the upper camp on the western shoulder on the height of 4600 m. Descent to 3500m. 

Day 5. Descent to the base camp. 

     

Day 6. Rest day, preparation for a summit bid. 

Day 7. Climb to the camp on the moraine (3500 m). 

Day 8. Climb to the upper camp on the western shoulder, to the of height of 4600 m.

Day 9. Summit day. 

Day 10. Descent to the base camp. 

Day 11-13. Reserve days in the case of bad weather. 

     

Day 14. Departure to Mineralnye Vody. Hotel in Piatigorsk. 

Day 15. Home flight.
