Virgin 7-thousand meters peak ....or forgotten kingdom of Nepal
"The pilgrim has to be internally lonely, only in this case he could absorb everything."
Marina Cvetaeva
When this autumn Yri Koshelenko called me and proposed to joint to his trip to Himalaya, I did not think a lot. Recently Southern America, Africa and China attracted my attention and I forgot about Nepal for 5 years, but absolutely in vain.
In 2003 Nepali ministry of Tourism opened 50 peaks for mountaineering ascents. Mt.Tulagi places the second line in this list.
Exactly there we were going...
I have to say, that this spring Japanese under the leadership of famous Himalayan researcher Tamotsu made the first known attempt to reach the top of southern-west outlier of 8163 Manaslu peak. This autumn Russian team under the leadership of Badaleta was close to success, passing along the northern-west wall and reaching the plateau+
It was interesting for us to recognize about approaches to the peak from southern side.
Thus we are in Katmandu. I have to say both city and the country have changed from 2005, when I took part in the trip to the foot of the Everest.
